9/20/25- 12am Town of Shandaken has declared a State of Emergency & has issued a Burning Ban on all outdoor fires and burning of brush due to the drought conditions. This has affected our Town’s water supplies & will increase the risk of wildfires. This burn ban is in effect until further notice. This ban excludes contained BBQ Grills. Our water districts should continue to conserve water!
