PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that I, Joyce Grant, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Shandaken, County of Ulster and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Shandaken for the year 2026.
Payments can be accepted online at www.shandakentax.com
Taxes will also be accepted in person at the Town Clerk’s office at 7209 State Rt. 28 Shandaken NY 12480, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, or through the mail to Tax Collector PO Box 67, Shandaken, NY 12480.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, taxes may be paid on or before January 30, 2026 in person, and on
or before January 31, 2026 by mail and online, without interest or penalty. On such taxes
remaining unpaid after January 31, 2026, the following fees will be charged:
February: 1% interest
March: 2% interest
April: 3% interest
May: 4% interest
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of
Shandaken, all unpaid taxes will be returned to the Ulster County Department of Finance, PO Box 1800, Kingston, New York, on the 1st day of June 2026.
