NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Shandaken Planning Board will hold a PUBLIC HEARING pursuant to section 274-b of State Law and as prescribed by the District Schedule of Area and Bulk Regulations of the Shandaken Town Code for the purpose of hearing the following applicant:
An application for Special Use Permit has been submitted to the Planning Board by John Michelotti for a parcel located at 338 Oliverea Road, Big Indian, further identified as sbl# 12.-1-27, located in a Residential 1.5-acre Zoning District.
The applicant is seeking approval to convert an existing garage into an Accessory Dwelling Unit.
The Public Hearing will be held on April 8, 2026 at 6:45pm at the Shandaken Town Hall, 7209 Route 28 Shandaken, NY.
Any person wishing to make comment on this application may do so during the Public Hearing. Written comments may also be submitted to bldgzoning@shandaken.gov, or by mail to PO Box 134 Shandaken, NY 12480. Written comments must be received no later than April 8, 2026 at 3:00pm.
