NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Shandaken Planning Board will hold a PUBLIC HEARING pursuant to section 274-b of State Law and as prescribed by the District Schedule of Area and Bulk Regulations of the Shandaken Town Code for the purpose of hearing the following applicant:
An application for a Special Use Permit has been submitted to the Planning Board by Cello Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless for a parcel located at 8 Firehouse Rd in Big Indian, further identified as Tax Map No. 12.7-2-33. Parcel consists of .25-acres and is located in a Highway Business Zoning District.
Applicant is seeking a Special Use Permit to install a small wireless facility to include a 50-foot Class 2 wooden utility pole and wireless antenna.
The Public Hearing is scheduled for July 8, 2026 at 6:45pm at the Shandaken Town Hall, 7209 Route 28 Shandaken, NY.
